Well, there goes my new, immediate way of working! Despite the fact that I wanted (and still do want) to move toward writing shorter pieces, here is the first in what will be a fairly extensive series of new Lalia material. Trust me when I say there is a LOT more of this in the pipeline, the idea of such a comprehensive story being to follow Lalia across a number of years into her twenties. Part 1 takes place over the relatively short course of a few months, in which she sees her circumstances change dramatically, in terms of both her living arrangements and her metabolism.

My reasons for writing this are pretty straightforward; I’ve received feedback from the beginning asking for a Lalia w/g story. So, following some brainstorming with , the idea for ‘Lalia Gains Weight’ was born. The main plot point is that as Lalia gets older her metabolism slows, and she puts on more and more weight; since she’s unwilling or unable to control or curtail her stuffings, before long she begins to balloon exponentially. Whilst in this episode Lalia is just starting to gain weight, future parts see her really pile on the pounds.

Although the vast majority of material for upcoming parts has already been written, it still needs some work in the form of editing in the coming weeks and months. Future installments will be published episodically, so if you have any feedback on how you think future parts could be improved, please suggest away! Other than ‘make Lalia bigger/fatter’, of course; don’t sweat, I’m all over that.
Finally a note on how this relates to my other Lalia stories; I consider those part of a ‘cannon’ and this a standalone plotline, so a lack of continuity should be expected. I hope to eventually rearrange my gallery to reflect this as it may well get confusing in the future.
